"FOR CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION" FOUNDATION

 

The MOIRA Centre founded the "For Conductive Education" Foundation in 1991.
The Capital Court of Hungary registered the Foundation on 1st October 1991, and qualified it as public benefit organisation on 1st January 1998.

 

Aims of "For Conductive Education" Foundation:

To promote the followings with collecting donations:
  • help the conductive rehabilitation of the Hungarian motor disabled and multidisabled cildren and adults,
  • spread the method of conductive education,
  • issue publications on conductive education,
  • organise postgraduate courses for conductors.

 

Activity of "For Conductive Education" Foundation:ce_in_moira_budapest_10_120

Organising free or sponsored conductive educational sessions in the MOIRA Centre for underprivileged Hungarian children and adults. The professional fee of the conductive educational sessions are supported or totally covered by the foundation.

Ensuring free or sponsored accomodation for those underprivileged Hungarian children with motor impairments and for their parents, who does not have the possibility to participate in conductive education. For the period, while the children participate in sessions in the MOIRA Conductive Education Centre, the Foundation sponsores their accomodation in Budapest. This project runs from 1993.

Organising compaignes to take collections up.
Last aim was: buying a minivan, hich is adapted for wheelchair
for the poet with motor impairments, Zoltan Vito. The foundation helped the upkeep of the car also. It gave the first possibility for the poet to travel with his wife and two little sons together.
The foundation also helped to publicate Zoltan Vito's poem book.
We would like to express our thank for the grantors for their immediate and keen help.


Participation in tenders (last time: as a consortion partner of Bliss Foundation, HEFOP 2.2 EU-tender).

Ensuring free and volunteer labour for postgraduate courses and activities organised by MOIRA Centre, which target the spread of conductive education (last time: "In Memoriam Dr Maria Hari" Commemorial Day, "Introduction to Conductive Education" special international course).
